About the author Clemens Bak, son of Bronislaw and Hedi Bak, had a 40 year career in manufacturing before returning to his roots in the arts.  Born in Pirmasens, Germany in 1951 he grew up in the studios of his parents.  Later following the death of his father, Bronislaw Bak and his mother's stroke, he  began to work with friends and colleagues of his parents to preserve the sizable legacy of work left to the immediate family.  Over a 20 year period, Clemens organized exhibits, wrote articles and worked to get the word out about his parents.  In 2017 he founded the Red Onion Press, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to printmaking and letterpress arts.
